You might think to yourself: I’m altering form! Or it’s all about math…

Chilean artist Enrique Castro-Cid's paintings combine an interest in spatial representation and in mathematical theory, such as the Z-transform referenced in the title of this work. According to Ricardo Pau-llosa, Castro-Cid’s scenarios are conceptual, and his work redefines the way space and objects are presented as images in painting. The artist plays with traditional classical concepts of perspective.
